The University of Southern California (USC) Department of Financial and Business Services (FBS) is seeking a Mail and Material Handler I to join its team! About USC Mailing and Material Management Mailing and Material Management is comprised of Mailing Services, Material Management, Mail Stop and Surplus Sales. These units provide the USC community of students, faculty, staff and affiliates with the pickup, delivery and processing of mail, materials, gas cylinders, freight shipments, overnight courier services, storage space, and the operation of two retail units. Hourly Range: The hourly rate range for this position is $20.79 - $24.36. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state, and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations. Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent; combined work experience and education as equivalent. 0 - 6 months of related experience. Prior customer service experience. Experience using desktop PC or laptop. Basic knowledge of Word and Excel. Valid CA driver's license required with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience. Position will be participating in the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Pull Notice System. A copy of DMV record will be required as a final condition of employment.
