Summary:

In this role, you will lead high-value client partnership with up to four large complex health systems to drive measurable performance improvement and organizational growth. You will serve as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior executives, leveraging strategic insight, analytical storytelling, and financial acumen to inform client strategy and deliver sustainable outcomes. You will collaborate across internal teams to align priorities, influence decision-making, and expand value through innovative, results-driven solutions. Territory will consist of clients located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with executive-level clients to deliver measurable performance improvement.

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with client and organizational priorities.

  • Leverage data and insights to diagnose challenges and communicate recommendations through clear, evidence-based storytelling.

  • Interpret and apply financial and operational metrics to guide strategy and demonstrate value.

  • Anticipate industry and market trends to inform long-term client strategy and positioning.

  • Collaborate across internal business units to align resources and solutions to client needs.

  • Represent the organization with confidence, credibility, and executive presence.

  • Facilitate high-impact discussions that shape strategic direction and accelerate outcomes.

  • Identify opportunities to deepen client relationships and expand value-based partnerships.

  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation in client engagement and delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.

  • 10 or more years of relevant experience required with at least 2 years of direct, accountable experience desired making and influencing supply chain decisions within hospitals/health systems (not passive exposure), including governance participation (e.g., value analysis, capital approval, executive supply chain forums), hands-on sourcing, procurement, and standardization execution, and ownership of financially measurable outcomes (validated savings, utilization performance, compliance).

  • Must demonstrate ability to translate supply chain data and system insights into actions and executive-level narratives.

  • Own portfolio account strategy and governance rhythms; anticipates risks/opportunities and adjusts roadmaps accordingly.

  • Lead multi-category sequencing and prioritization tied to client objectives and measurable improvement.

  • Establish durable executive relationships; expanding stakeholder footprint and increasing engagement.

  • Ability to deliver persuasive executive-level messaging; co-lead EBRs and guide high-stakes decisions.

  • Own escalations within accounts; resolve complex barriers by coordinating internal experts and client stakeholders.

  • Demonstrate readiness for broader regional leadership through executive advisory impact, coaching at scale, and enterprise-level portfolio outcomes.

  • Candidates residing in the Mid-Atlantic region of the U.S. preferred.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients' needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $156,500.00 to $290,100.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
