Aircraft Component Repair Technician 1 - Paint Removalin GAC Savannah Unique Skills: The Tech I position is an entry level position into repair and overhaul. Primary responsibility, but not limited to, will be in the Carbo Blast section sandblasting paint off parts. Technicians will be required to use a respirator and follow other required PPE as mandated by Environmental Health and Safety. Preferred candidate must possess general mechanical aptitude and ability. Must be able to work any shift as required depending on the needs of business. Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or GED required. Must possess basic understanding of shop math. Sheetmetal (production and/or fabrication) and/or hydraulic overhaul experience preferred.. Basic knowledge and experience with electrical theory and wiring preferred..
Position Purpose:
Under close supervision, repair and overhaul internal and external aircraft assemblies, subassemblies and components in accordance with Gulfstream Repair Station requirements. Job Description
