The Clinical Administrator Coordinator role is part of our clinical support team. You will be a key component in customer satisfaction and have a responsibility to make every contact informative, productive and positive for our members and providers. You'll have the opportunity to do live outreach, educating people about program benefits and services while also helping to manage individual cases.

This is a fast-paced working environment that requires the ability to multitask with attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

If you are located in Idaho, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage administrative intake of people with UHC insurance and complete required documentation in our medical management systems
  • Maintain compliance with turnaround times based on the member's product, the type of request and the specific regulatory agency
  • Work with hospitals, clinics, facilities and the clinical team to manage requests for services from members and/or providers
  • Process incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles
  • Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents/triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review
  • Handle resolution/inquiries from members and/or providers
  • Complete special projects and call DSNP or Medicaid members
  • Participate from time to time in call campaigns
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 2+ years of healthcare industry experience
  • 6+ months of customer service experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Microsoft Word (create, edit, save documents), Microsoft Excel (create, edit, save documents) and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management)
  • Must live in Idaho

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with health care insurance
  • Experience working in a hospital, physician's office or medical clinic setting
  • A clerical or administrative support background
  • Knowledge of ICD-9 and CPT codes
  • Experience working in a call center
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.98 to $32.12 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
