The hospital's RN residency program is accredited by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Practice Transition Accreditation Program and Pathway to Excellence, ensuring high-quality training for nurses.
  • Responsible for compliance with overall Hospital standards of the specialty area (Reports to the Department Director).
  • Responsible for compliance with standards during assigned shift.
  • Uses established principles of delegation and supervision to direct the activities of all therapists in the delivery of patient care during their assigned shift.
  • Uses independent judgment to ensure optimal delivery of patient care and appropriate use of available resources.

Job Requirements:

  • Must possess a current Oklahoma RCP license and preferred passed Registry for Respiratory Therapy (RRT)/CRT
  • Minimum of Associates required
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • PALS.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Desirable characteristics include two years of experience in a hospital or medically related environment. With supervisory role experience.
