Summary
The Office of Workforce Engagement (WE), a division within Human Resources, works in collaboration across MCW to drive initiatives that enhance faculty and staff engagement, promotes a culture of belonging, and offers workplace programs that strengthen all of MCW's organizational values - caring, collaboration, curiosity, inclusivity, integrity and respect. The Program Manager I is responsible for designing and managing programs for the Office of Workforce Engagement. The Program Manager collaborates across HR divisions to enhance talent pipelines, build internal mobility initiatives, support workforce planning efforts, and manages the MCW Engagement Survey. An auxiliary focus of this role is to create pipelines and pathways that strengthen and foster a flourishing workforce. The Program Manager reports to the Program Director in the Office of Workforce Engagement and regularly partners with WE team members. The Program Manager also collaborates with internal HR and MCW stakeholders and is encouraged to contribute to all aspects of workforce engagement. An ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, mission and values oriented, has experience building sustainable workforce engagement programs, and is enthusiastic about supporting the growth of people. Qualifications
Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis. Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degreein business, Human Resources, workforce development, organizational development, or a related field is required. Minimum Required Experience: 5 years of experience in talent acquisition, workforce development, or organization development. Previous work in higher education or healthcare preferred Preferred Education: Business Administration, Human Resources, Human Services or related field Physical Requirements
Work requires occasionally lifting moderate weight materials, standing, or walking continuously. Work Environment
Occasional exposure to dust, noise, temperature changes, or contact with water or other liquids. Work is performed in an environmentally controlled environment. Sensory Acuity
Ability to detect and translate speech or other communication required. May occasionally require the ability to distinguish colors and perceive relative distances between objects. #LI-AV1
