We partner with families, employers, and community organizations to help people live, work, and thrive. ________________________________________ Role Overview VersAbility Resources is seeking a motivated and creative intern to support the Marketing and Development team through activities such as grant research, assisting with proposal development, supporting donor engagement efforts, and contributing to a variety of development-related projects. The intern will gain experience in nonprofit fundraising, grants management, and cross-functional collaboration while helping advance the organization's funding and engagement initiatives We are seeking candidates who reside in Virginia and can work onsite at our corporate location in Hampton, Virginia. ________________________________________ What You'll Do *Assist with developing fundable program concepts by helping outline basic goals, activities, and potential outcomes *Support data entry, document preparation, and content development *Assist with administrative tasks related to grant writing, fundraising and communications *Provide general marketing and development support across various projects and initiatives *Assist with administrative and coordination tasks related to marketing efforts *Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned ________________________________________ Qualifications *Currently a Junior or Senior, or Graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Public Policy, Business Administration, or a related field *Minimum 3.0 GPA required *Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills *Knowledge of social media platforms, content creation, and digital marketing strategies *Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) *Ability to work independently and as part of a team *Passion for working in a mission-driven nonprofit environment *Valid driver's license required ________________________________________ Work Environment This role is primarily sedentary and may include working in an office setting, with occasional walking, standing, or attending events.
