Job Description Pay Range: $72,500 to $90,625 per year 1. Responsible for leadership of the Distribution and Materials Warehouse Departments and for meeting department and company goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity cost and safety. 2. Responsible for the development and training of supervisors and team members working within guidelines and company policies. 3. Directly report to General Production Manager on all exceptions in regards to productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost and safety. 4. Responsible for monitoring standards and indexes needed to monitor / control area of responsibility. 5. Oversight to ensure that safety orientations and safety meetings are held as required to keep frequency and severity of incidents to a minimum. 6. Participates at department meetings in the planning processes and to the testing and development of techniques / processes. Qualifications 1. BS or BA in or business management or equivalent work experience. 2. Must have 5-10 years of experience in the food processing industry. 3. Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing and must have strong interpersonal skills. 4. Must have strong leadership skills with the potential for advancement. 5. Good mathematical background to be able to perform calculations on yield, productivity, time cards, reports, etc. 6. Able to evaluate supervisors fairly and objectively. 7. Able to stand for prolong periods of time on a concrete / metal grate floor. 8. Ability to submit to and pass a criminal background check.
