THE ROLE:
AMD's is transforming the industry with our EPYC server platform and our AI-centric Graphic Processors. Our primary objective is to design exceptional products that drive the evolution of computing experiences, serving as the cornerstone for enterprise Data Centers, (AI) Artificial Intelligence, HPC and Embedded systems. THE PERSON:

We are searching for an Agentic AI FW developer to design, develop, and autonomous goaldriven AI agents that actively improve our FW pipeline. This would include areas of FW development, test generation, automation, debug/triage, and system integration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • AI Enablement & Strategy: Contribute to and guide the adoption of AI/ML techniques across the firmware development flow.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Partner with firmware, system architecture, software, and QA teams to integrate AI into workflows, accelerating development and improving quality.
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish metrics and processes that demonstrate AI's impact in improving efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • AI adoption: Serve as a champion for AI adoption, mentoring teams and influencing AMD's position as an industry leader in AI-enabled firmware.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Several years in system/firmware architecture, with proven experience in AI/ML integration or enablement.
  • Strong background in server and data center architectures, boot flows, secure firmware, and hardware/software interfaces.
  • Proficiency in firmware development and familiarity with AI frameworks for enabling solutions.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving organizational change or adoption of new methodologies (AI, automation, etc.).
  • Experience debugging complex CPU/FW issues, pre/post silicon development, and platform bring-up.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills, with the ability to bridge AI, firmware, and system architecture communities.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Advanced coursework or practical experience in AI/ML preferred.
