The primary duties involve teaching and advising in industrial engineering, with the opportunity for research collaboration. Successful candidates will have demonstrable interest in working with undergraduate engineering students.

The Department seeks outstanding candidates who have received a Ph.D. degree in industrial engineering, operations research, statistics, or other IE-related discipline, or who expect to do so by August 2026, and who aspire to engage in independent and interdisciplinary teaching and research. The starting date is September 1, 2026. The application package should include a cover letter, curriculum vita, statement of teaching experience and philosophy, statement of research accomplishments and interests, and a link to a video of a short teaching demonstration. Please visit the IEMS website to find out more information about this position and to apply.

In addition, the applicant should arrange for at least two, but no more than three letters of recommendation addressing both research and teaching qualifications. Recommendation letters will be automatically solicited from the letter writers by email after the names are entered in the online application system.
