Location: 1705 E. Broadway, Columbia, MO
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. | 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT and X-ray imaging procedures, including:
    • IV and oral contrast administration
    • Protocol setup, patient positioning, image reconstruction, filming, and archiving
    • Image transfers to PACS and treatment planning systems
  • Assist with procedure scheduling and related front-office functions to ensure smooth workflow
  • Provide patient and staff protection in accordance with prescribed safety standards
  • Conduct daily and/or monthly quality control measures to monitor scanner and equipment performance
  • Maintain patient data, including archiving, retrieval, network transfers, and requesting outside films
  • Demonstrate knowledge of IV contrast contraindications, recognize adverse reactions, and follow proper response protocols
  • Support educational and teaching initiatives as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience as a CT/MRI Technologist
  • ARRT certification required
  • CT and MRI certification strongly preferred
  • Current IV and CPR certifications required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or ability to obtain within three (3) months of hire
  • Experience with patient scheduling and billing systems preferred

Physical Demands

This position requires the ability to:

  • Lift and carry items up to 50 pounds
  • Assist with moving patients in wheelchairs or stretchers weighing up to 300 pounds
  • Reach above shoulder height
  • Sit and/or stand for extended periods
  • Perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, coordination, and corrected vision and hearing

Work Environment

This role involves direct patient contact in a clinical setting with potential exposure to blood, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, and other conditions common to healthcare environments. All safety protocols are rigorously followed.
