We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Military Advisor to USSPACECOM to support the transition of a large DOW organization to Huntsville, Alabama while maintaining a high level of mission readiness. As a key advisor, you will leverage your extensive military background and leadership experience to guide our strategic engagements with defense entities. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive military experience, a strong grasp of space operations, and the ability to provide high-level analytical and technical support. As a Senior Military Advisor to USSPACECOM , your duties will include the following, but are not limited to: Transition Support: Provide strategic guidance and support to facilitate the transition of USSPACECOM to Huntsville, Alabama, ensuring a seamless relocation and operational continuity. Operational Support: Provide advanced analytical and technical support for projects involving training, military systems design, and complex operational efforts related to USSPACECOM operations. Technology Investments: Leverage military insight to inform the company's technology investments, ensuring alignment with the evolving needs of USSPACECOM, the FBI, and other defense partners. Business Development: Support business development and capture strategies to help expand the company's footprint in space defense and missile operations in support of USSPACECOM. Customer Engagement: Engage directly with senior USSPACECOM transition leadership, personnel, and other current and prospective customers to understand mission needs and align solutions. Mentorship and Guidance: Mentor and provide guidance to less-experienced staff, with potential for supervisory responsibilities. Staying Current: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of relevant technologies and subject matter to ensure solutions remain at the forefront of innovation in support of the USSPACECOM mission. Job Requirements: U.S. Citizenship Master's degree 15+ years of military experience, with a focus on military operations, missile defense, FBI, or related fields. Active Top-Secret Clearance. Proven expertise in providing leadership, technical, and operational support to military related projects, with a background in training, systems design, and military operations. Ability to research and recommend resources for the successful execution of complex military operations. Strong experience in analyzing and processing operational data to inform system development and enhancements. In-depth understanding of the U.S. Space Command, U.S. Space Force, Missile Defense Agency, FBI and other related defense agencies. Demonstrated ability to identify and recommend emerging technologies that drive investment and R&D strategies. Extensive experience in enterprise-level strategic development, growth, and P&L. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience engaging with high-level defense officials and prospective clients. Leadership experience, with a proven ability to mentor and guide less-experienced staff, and potential for supervisory roles. Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in the recent FBI transition to Huntsville as well as a deep understanding of USSPACECOM's mission and operations. You will possess excellent leadership and analytical skills, with the ability to provide high-level support to complex projects. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as you will be engaging with high-level defense officials and prospective customers.
