Job Summary

The Systems Administrator is responsible for driving the endtoend implementation of the Time & Attendance and Factory Data Collection systems across multiple sites in North America. Deployment activities will occur in 2026 at locations in California (Garden Grove and El Cajon) and the East Coast (Newington, CT; North Charlestown, NH; and Muncie, IN). In 2027, implementations will continue in Tallassee, AL; Dallas, TX; Phoenix, AZ; and Mexicali, Mexico. After implementation the role will focus on the contract maintenance and legal compliance, improve system functionality in line with end user requirements, further standardization and streamlining of T&A processes in the US Region. Integrations to other business systems must be looked after as well as safe and compliant system usage will have to be monitored and actively steered

The position will also be responsible for managing integrations with other business systems, as well as monitoring and actively guiding safe and compliant system usage.



This is a highimpact role where you will lead complex, multisite deployments, ensure process standardization, oversee integrations with enterprise systems, and deliver sustainable solutions that support our manufacturing excellence.

Job Responsibilities

Time & Attendance Expertise & Solution Design




  • Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for Time & Attendance system functionality, configuration, and technical workflows.


  • Translate local and regional business requirements into scalable, standardized Time & Attendance solutions used across all GKN North America sites.


  • Evaluate system capabilities, perform gap analyses, and recommend configuration or integration enhancements.



Project Leadership




  • Lead full lifecycle implementation of Time & Attendance and Factory Data Collection systems, including onsite support as needed.


  • Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and budgets.


  • Track work deliverables and project hours accurately, ensuring alignment with PMO expectations.



Stakeholder Alignment & Reporting




  • Align with regional stakeholders (e.g., US payroll) and global partners in HR and IT on policies, standards, and longterm system roadmaps.


  • Lead change management efforts, stakeholder communication, and enduser training.


  • Deliver weekly project updates to senior leadership and IT management via PlanView or other program management tools.



Integration & Technical Oversight




  • Collaborate with integration teams to ensure seamless, reliable connectivity between Time & Attendance systems and enterprise platforms such as:

    • SAP SuccessFactors
    • Infor LN ERP
    • ADP Payroll



  • Oversee cloud data storage design, data processing workflows, and compliance with security and regulatory standards.


  • Define, document, and enforce Time & Attendance and Factory Data Collection standards across three North American business lines.


  • Maintain technical documentation including interface landscapes, RACI matrices, and all required project artifacts.



Expected Deliverables




  • Comprehensive project plans, governance frameworks, and risk mitigation strategies.


  • ASIS and TOBE process documentation and integration blueprints.


  • Interface catalogs, data mappings, and compliance documentation.


  • SIT (System Integration Testing) and UAT (User Acceptance Testing) plans, cutover strategies, and golive readiness reports.


  • Training guides, user support materials, and changeenablement documentation.


Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related fields of study.
  • 3+ hands-on experience with Auto-Time implementation and configuration, with expertise in Time & Attendance and Factory Data Collection processes within a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
  • Strong functional understanding of SAP SuccessFactors, Infor LN ERP, and ADP Payroll integrations.
  • Handson experience in designing cloudbased data storage and processing solutions (Azure or AWS), with familiarity with interface development, API-based integrations, and both realtime and batch data flows.


  • Able to accomodate up to 40% percent.


  • Proven ability to lead multisite projects across the United States and Mexico.
  • Strong communication skills and experience managing diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Must be a U.S. Person per ITAR regulations to comply with export compliance requirements, with ability to obtain a Department of Defense security clearance if needed.



Preferred



  • Project management certification.
  • Master's degree in Information Technology
  • Knowledge of California labor laws.
  • Fluent in English; Spanish proficiency is considered an asset.
