This position reports to:

The work model for the role is: Onsite, Mebane, NC

Your role and responsibilities:

  • Oversees execution of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
  • Defines maintenance plans for new production lines or facilities, and consults on ways to improve reliability, maintainability, and safety of equipment and/or facilities, in collaboration with the Engineering team.
  • Manages and updates technical documentation of equipment, production lines, and/or facilities.
  • Solves major technical, equipment, or facilities problems in order to achieve higher performance of the production lines.
  • Maintains tools and repairs equipment in good working condition.
  • Proposes improvement projects for processes and production lines aimed at reducing ordinary and extraordinary maintenance and optimizing operational and energy efficiency.
  • Responds to emergencies, breakdowns, malfunctions, and other operating problems to minimize disruption in the production process.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, demonstrating knowledge of production workflows and safety practices.
  • Proven ability to identify, recommend, and support improvements in manufacturing and production processes to enhance efficiency and quality.
  • Hands-on custom design and production experience, including working with specialized or fabricated components.
  • Practical welding experience, with the ability to perform basic to intermediate welding tasks safely and effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required
  • Knowledge and use of tools - tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 40lbs
