We are seeking a motivated Field Engineer to provide data center hardware support and IT infrastructure troubleshooting across multiple enterprise environments in Northern Virginia. This role supports servers, storage systems, and networking equipment within high-availability data centers and requires strong technical troubleshooting and hands-on hardware repair skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and resolve data center hardware and infrastructure issues, including servers, storage systems, and network components.
• Perform installation, break/fix support, and component replacement for enterprise IT equipment.
• Analyze and troubleshoot multi-OEM enterprise systems using established system analysis procedures.
• Support data center operations, completing high-volume technical tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Perform clearly defined data center maintenance and support tasks with remote technical guidance when required.
• Document troubleshooting activities, repairs, and daily tasks accurately.
• Assist with escalation resolution and operational management tasks to maintain data center uptime.
• Work directly with on-site customers and follow site-specific support requirements.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of technical or IT support experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of server architecture, storage systems, and networking concepts.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform component-level repairs using ESD best practices.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a technical team environment.

Additional Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Valid driver's license, vehicle, and insurance required.
• Ability to travel to regional data centers as needed.
