Tufts Medicine/MelroseWakefield Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physician Assistant to join our expanding OB/GYN team as an OB/GYN Inpatient Procedural Physician Assistant at our location in Melrose, MA. This is an exciting opportunity to work under the supervision of our OB/GYN attending physicians to manage hospitalized patients. This role would include providing procedural support (bedside and first assisting in the OR), inpatient rounding, OB/GYN consults and triage in labor & delivery.

The schedule for this position would be 4 days and 40 hours per week (Monday through Thursday) with no Fridays or weekends.

Candidates with an OB/GYN and First Assist background and experience are highly desirable for this role.

Who you are:

  • Graduate of an accredited and/or approved Physician Assistant program

  • Current license as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and NCCPA Certification

  • Prior First Assist Operating Room background and experience within OB/GYN is highly preferred

  • A team player who is excited to work cooperatively with a wide range of stakeholders and disciplines to champion world class patient satisfaction and support
