Description

As the PM Shift Production Supervisor, you'll be responsible for the PM Shift operations and direct shift administrative tasks at the Willows Production facility. Position reports to the Operations Manager.

Essential Job Functions



  • Coordinate and supervise all Production Department activities. This includes, but is not limited to:

    • Coordinating and optimizing packaging equipment utilization.
    • All bulk preparations (scanning and yields).
    • All finished product packaging.
    • All foreign material, quality documentation, and follow through.
    • Labor requirements and adjustments to ensure standard staffing.
    • Human Resource policy adherence and follow through.


  • Prioritize, initiate, and coordinate problem solving efforts to improve the effectiveness of the processing and packaging areas.
  • Enforce all standards, policies, and procedures of Masters Gallery Foods, Inc. with Safety and Quality at top of mind.
  • Lead and organize specific department meetings ensuring full compliance with all Company Quality/Safety programs and policies.
  • Organize and participate in Masters Gallery Foods Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Identify needs and coordinate training and development for all Production personnel.
  • Maintain records, forms, and other documentation as required to ensure regulatory, Plant, and customer requirements compliance.
  • Support and facilitate implementation of all Plant initiatives.
  • Provide direct leadership to all Assistant Production Supervisors, Team Lead, and Line Lead personnel to ensure continuous development.
  • Investigate and document all injuries for root cause using EHS software.
  • Report all performance and departmental issues to Plant Leadership across all shifts and departments as needed.
  • Work closely with Maintenance personnel to continually identify opportunities to improve Overall Equipment (OEE) improvement leadership.
  • Perform daily and weekly audits (GMP/Safety).
  • Perform reviews on production team members (90 days/Annual).
  • Monitor usage and input of trim for shred items.


What You Can Offer



  • Associate's degree in Supervisory Management, Manufacturing Operations, or related field.
  • 3 years of related experience working in a supervisory management role.
  • Requires a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and leadership skills.
  • Specific knowledge of production processes and packaging operations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to use a PC, iPad, and mainframe computer.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Systems (Excel, Word, Office 365).
  • Ability to work weekend hours and additional hours as needed.
