SUMMARY: The Assembler Part Mark uses various marking methods for performing visual inspection on machined and assembled parts to ensure final product meets customer specifications. This full time/day shift position works as part of a production team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Mark various types of aerospace parts using rubber stamps, stencils, and/or an inkjet machine.
• Read and understand instructions' detailing what information is to be included on part mark.
• Interpret drawings to determine proper location for part mark.
• Responsible for producing quality products within specifications.
• Responsible for meeting shift production goals.
• Drive continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment.

• Work to meet customer and internal production schedules.
• Maintain high level of integrity dealing with all departments within the organization.

• Complete shift paperwork.
• Assist elsewhere when necessary.

• Adhere to company policies and procedures described in Employment Handbook.

• Other duties as assigned by management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• 2 years' experience in a similar position preferred.
• Able to interpret Aerospace blueprints a plus.
• Able to read, write and communicate work instructions and drawings in English.
• Analytical and creative skills to find solutions to problems.
• Proficient using PC and software applications.
• Experience with automated part marking equipment.
• Basic math skills.
• Team player who can perform in a fast-paced environment with sense of urgency.
• Quality oriented with a hands-on personality, "do it right the first time" personality.

• Strong attention to detail, organizational, time management and follow-up skills.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
