What We Are Looking For

We're seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager who can implement the strategic plan for our medical device and industrial 3D printing facility. The Senior Manager of Operations leads production and supply chain functions with a focus on scaling operational capability, strengthening leadership effectiveness, and driving consistent execution. This role builds on an established operations team and is accountable for aligning people, processes, and priorities to deliver predictable, high-quality outcomes.

Reporting to a manager located in a different time zone, the role requires strong communication, structured priority management, and sound judgment on escalation to ensure effective alignment and decision-making.

What You Will Do

Key Objectives

  • Lead and develop the operations leadership team to support continued growth and complexity
  • Set up the necessary processes to strengthen operational rhythms, clarity of ownership, and consistency of execution
  • Ensure effective integration between production and supply chain activities
  • Support a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
  • Enable clear alignment with senior leadership across locations and time zones

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Development

  • Provide clear direction, coaching, and support to direct reports
  • Foster strong collaboration across production and supply chain functions
  • Set expectations for decision-making, ownership, and follow-through
  • Support capability development and succession within the operations team

Operations Management

  • Own overall operational performance across safety, quality, delivery, and cost
  • Translate strategic objectives into clear operational priorities and plans
  • Ensure timely issue identification, resolution, and cross-functional alignment

Communication & Stakeholder Alignment

  • Maintain clear, proactive communication with a remotely based manager
  • Provide structured updates, highlight risks and trade-offs, and escalate as appropriate
  • Partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to support business objectives

Scope & Reporting

Direct Reports:

  • Production Manager
  • Supply Chain Supervisor - Logistics, build preparation, and build scheduling
  • Supply Chain Supervisor - Planning, S&OP, customer communication, and post-processing planning
Qualifications

What You Will Bring

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field or equivalent by experience
  • 8+ years of experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain leadership or equivalent roles
  • Experience leading managers or supervisors
  • Working knowledge of both production operations and supply chain planning
  • Track record of operating in complex, cross-functional environments

  • Sound prioritization and decision-making ability
