The Senior Manager of Corporate Development Operations will be an integral member of the Office of the Chief Business Officer (CBO) and will report to the Chief Business Officer.

Essential Functions

  • Leader Prep: Work closely with the Chief Business Officer to ensure content and material is available and time is set aside to review; in some cases, work with content owners to ensure effectiveness of materials. Proactively look ahead to internal/external meetings to confirm CBO speaking roles and content needs.

  • Logistics: Serve as lead for planning all logistics for any meeting driven by the office of the CBO. Specifics include overseeing all aspects of the meeting, including: reserving meeting space (at or outside of Jazz offices), catering, selecting restaurants, team building activities, managing transportation, ensuring proper IT, scheduling, local employee engagement, etc.

  • Project Management: Support a variety of efforts with ongoing project management, including timeline development, expectation setting, slide review and delivery, action item tracking and follow up.

  • Presentation/Content Development Support: Help with development of presentations and communications, as appropriate, including sourcing data/information to support presentation objectives.

  • Request Management: Help manage and triage requests as they come to the office of the CBO; work with CBO to identify best path forward and stakeholders to involve as needed

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional partners to drive projects and efforts forward, offering clarity and strong communications consistently.

  • Executive Assistant Duties: Serve as Executive Assistant to CBO and leadership members of the CBO as assigned. Manage travel, expenses and other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Minimum of 10 years of pharmaceutical business experience, ideally with experience in operations or a key part of the business.

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task, work effectively with little or no direction, and build collaborative relationships with management, partners, and peers.

  • Self-starter with the ability to be resourceful, leverage network, proactively seek information, and solve problems.

  • Comfortable and effective working, collaborating, and communicating remotely.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal and facilitation skills; ability to interact with ease with board members and executives.

  • Advanced self-awareness and drive for in-role development to continually elevate the level of autonomy and proactivity.

  • Ability to work in a highly energetic, flexible, and fast-paced environment.

  • Project management skills/certification preferred.

  • This role will require the incumbent to be based in the US.

Required/Preferred Education and Licenses

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint, and Zoom.

Jazz Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices and we strive to provide employees with total compensation packages that are market competitive. For this role, the full and complete base pay range is: $144,000.00 - $216,000.00

Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, and other pertinent factors. The goal is to ensure fair and competitive compensation aligned with the candidate's expertise and contributions, within the established pay framework and our Total Compensation philosophy. Internal equity considerations will also influence individual base pay decisions. This range will be reviewed on a regular basis.

At Jazz, your base pay is only one part of your total compensation package. The successful candidate may also be eligible for a discretionary annual cash bonus or incentive compensation (depending on the role), in accordance with the terms of the Company's Global Cash Bonus Plan or Incentive Compensation Plan, as well as discretionary equity grants in accordance with Jazz's Long Term Equity Incentive Plan.
