The Demand Planner is responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders, including Product Management, Business Development, Project Management, and Supply Chain teams, to develop accurate demand forecasts and a yearly COGS/device budget. This role plays a critical part in ensuring material availability by providing reliable forecasts that support procurement and operational planning. The Demand Planner maintains rolling forecasts, analyzes demand patterns and business trends, and supports strategic planning processes such as Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP). Through strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and proactive planning, this role helps ensure operational efficiency, cost optimization, and the ability to meet customer demands in a dynamic clinical research environment.

What You'll Be Doing:

Responsible for developing and maintaining accurate demand forecasts and supporting supply chain planning activities.

Demand planning and forecasting responsibilities may include:

* Develop the yearly forecast for COGS/device budget
* Maintain and optimize an 18-month rolling material forecast at the item and customer level

* Supply planning tasks, working closely with procurement and suppliers, order confirmations, delivery dates inquiry.
* Set up and facilitate the monthly Demand Review and support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process
* Develop study rollout forecasts based on demand patterns and business trends
* Collaborate with Project Management, Sales, and Supply Chain teams to improve forecast accuracy
* Maintain demand plans to ensure cost effectiveness while meeting customer requirements and considering economic and cash flow impacts
* Maintain inventory levels based on projected future customer demand
* Address demand-related queries and issues in a timely manner
* Identify opportunities to meet customer demands during periods of constrained supply
* Maintain demand planning systems and processes to improve forecasting accuracy

Additional responsibilities:

* Support and influence risk assessment and mitigation activities related to supply and demand planning
* Review demand planning activities and identify opportunities to improve processes
* Recommend action plans to enhance forecasting accuracy and operational efficiency
* Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and operational capacity
* Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned

What We Look For:
* Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Statistics, Materials Management, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
* 3+ years of experience in a Demand Planning environment, preferably within the clinical trial, healthcare, or related industry
* Experience analyzing large datasets and developing fact-based conclusions
* Strong problem-solving skills and experience using analytical tools such as root cause analysis
* Experience working in fast-paced environments with the ability to operate independently and cross-functionally
* Strong understanding of supply chain processes and demand planning methodologies
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
* High attention to detail with strong follow-through and accountability
* Ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
* Ability to present data insights and recommendations clearly
* Strong presence and ability to interact with senior leadership and internal stakeholders

* Ability to work cross-functionally across departments and teams
* Strong analytical and presentation skills preferred
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
