Radiology Technologist - Vascular Houston, TX Pay From: $42 per hour MUST: The Radiological Technologist MUST have experience: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) State license and/or fluoroscopic permit to practice radiologic technology if required by state law Associates degree in science or successful completion of a formal educational program accepted by ARRT 1 year experience in general diagnostic, special procedures or cardiac catheterization Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic computer skills DUTIES: Assist clinical team with patient and procedure room preparation and post-procedure clean-up, operating the C-Arm, scrub-in for procedures, clean and sterilize tools and equipment Monitor and maintain adequate inventory of medical supplies Maintain radiology safety-monitoring procedures and may serve as the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) for the center or Safety Officer Assist in scheduling patients for vascular access procedures and provide assistance in transporting patients within the center Participate in community education activities regarding access center Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
