We are seeking a part-time (24 hour) Registered Nurse to support three Women's Health practices located in Dover and Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This position is scheduled for three 8-hour shifts between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday.
This role offers a hybrid schedule, with two days onsite and one remote day per week. The remote day may be selected by the candidate based on preference and operational needs. The RN will provide clinical support across the following locations: - Wentworth Health Partners OB/GYN & Infertility - 15 Old Rollinsford Road, Dover, NH 03820 - Garrison Women's Health - 770 Central Avenue, Dover, NH 03820 - Center for Women's Health and Wellness - 67 Corporate Drive, Portsmouth, NH 03801 The RN will collaborate with the care team to support patient care and clinical operations across all three practices. The Registered Nurse will be primarily dedicated to phone triage, managing patient interactions via telephone and providing clinical guidance in accordance with established protocols. Responsibilities include assessing patient concerns, coordinating appropriate care and disposition, and supporting vaccine administration when needed. Calls may relate to a variety of patient needs, including symptom concerns, appointment coordination, pre- and post-procedure questions, urgent care needs, inpatient admissions, prescription refills, and communication of test results. In addition to triage responsibilities, the RN will occasionally provide direct patient care related to Nonstress Testing. Responsible for patient care and support within our hospital's outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment. Essential Functions -Deliver direct patient care and support in our ambulatory care unit, ensuring high nursing standards. -Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety. -Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care. -Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care. -Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations. -Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.
