Hybrid/Remote work in MN.

The Payroll Specialist will perform all payroll and payroll tax functions, provide guidance on complex issues for employees and supervisors, and help ensure compliance with current payroll regulations. Calculate and file all taxes timely and accurately.

Primary Responsibilities:



  • Processing of daily activities mentioned above, as well as all aspects of pay period processing.
  • Process the transmittal of bi-weekly payroll.
  • Process payroll adjustments and special out of cycle items.
  • Ensure PTO request & PTO Termination request received are and processed in a timely matter.
  • Pay federal/state taxes, upload payroll invoices to SharePoint.
  • Monitor payroll dashboards: update direct deposit/W4 forms, update/adjust timecards with instructions.
  • Approve and export timecards from CRM to GP.
  • Assist with any payroll related questions via email/phone.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications & Requirements:



  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required; some college preferred
  • 2 - 3 years payroll experience required, including experience with garnishments, benefit deduction reconciliation , and tax filing
  • CPP/FPC certification preferred or willing to work towards certification
  • Must be well-organized and detail-oriented to complete work correctly and in a timely manner
  • Analytical, investigative, and organizational skills
  • Must have effective communication skills (listening, speaking and writing)
  • Strong people skills
