Job Title: VP & Loan Servicing/Liquidation Officer Department: Special Assets We are looking for a VP & Loan Servicing/Liquidation Officer to join our Special Assets team at Open Bank! The VP & Loan Servicing/Liquidation Officer will be responsible for managing loan servicing logs and keeping track of the results of the assigned servicing actions. The VP & Loan Servicing/Liquidation Officer will also review all servicing/liquidation memos prepared and follow up on closing the servicing actions upon approval. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain loan servicing portfolio (log) to ensure timely actions on all servicing requests.
- Review all credit memos prepared by Loan Servicing/Liquidation Officers and make recommendations to Loan Servicing/Liquidation Officers and the Special Assets Department (SAD) Manager. Upon approval of the credit memos, follow through by reviewing, filing and recording. Must keep track of all servicing actions and the results of action taken.
- Support Loan Servicing/Liquidation Officer in preparing various SBA guarantee packages.
- Oversee the Holdover G/L and keep track of incoming and outgoing funds.
- Manage all subpoenas requests.
- Support the Loan Servicing/Liquidation Officer in all aspects of loan servicing and liquidation actions when needed.
- Stay informed on all policies, practices, regulations, and laws applicable to your position.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience required.
- Minimum four years of prior experience in banking and/or lending required.
- General knowledge of lending regulations, lien laws, and loan documentation.
- Present a professional image in dealing with clients, interdepartmental, and external representatives.
- Accurate typing/keyboarding skills; basic computer skills, including the use of word processing, spreadsheet software applications, and e-mail.
