Job Purpose

Support the delivery of energy efficiency services for Commercial & Industrial customers, with a focus on business operations, vendor coordination, and program performance. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer experience, productivity, and process efficiency using best practices and market-informed strategies. Contribute to the successful implementation of Massachusetts energy efficiency programs by helping achieve savings targets within approved budgets.

Key Accountabilities
  • Review and approve vendor invoices, accruals, and program data to ensure accurate financial reporting; manage multiple related purchase orders.
  • Manage and motivate vendor and contractor performance using clear, outcome-driven metrics.
  • Support analysis of energy efficiency trends, new measures, and program approaches; provide feedback to help define and meet performance targets.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and vendors to develop scopes of work and contract terms consistent with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Collaborate with IT and web support teams to maintain program tracking and reporting systems.
  • Represent National Grid values in interactions with internal teams and external stakeholders, including business, municipal, and regulatory entities.
  • Respond to ad hoc information requests from regulators and other stakeholders.
  • Deliver high-quality work while meeting internal and external deadlines.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the business, industry trends, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge of energy efficiency programs, measures, and applicable technologies.
Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience (energy efficiency program experience preferred).
  • Understanding of commercial building systems and structures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Tableau.
  • Knowledge of industry practices, trends, and applicable legislation.

Salary
$116,000 - $136,000 a year
National Grid utilizes an assessment that evaluates the job qualifications/characteristics using AI or statistically based

This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop
