Purpose:
This position is responsibleto achieveschedule efficiency andutilizationgoals, through coordination with Production Control Planners, Team Leaders, direct laboremployeesand other shift Area Owners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Work experience requirements:
Requirespriorrelevant work experience, suited vocationaltraining, may require higher qualifications or certifications. Previousexperience as a Key Holder/ Area Owner backup is strongly desired.
2-3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge requirements:
Demonstrated ability to coordinate direct labor activities and make production work assignments. Basic computer skills. Fundamental understanding of the application of efficiency andutilizationmetrics. Strong planning and organization, communication, and group problem solving skills. Leadership skills anddemonstratedability to functi9on successfully in a team environment. Willing to work all scheduled overtime and be available for off-shift meetings. Willing and able to continually rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment. Must be reliably and predictably available to perform the major duties of the position at the assigned work site. Must be able to be ready to perform the job tasksthatthe assigned start time. Physical requirements:
Must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day, ability to move about, bends, stoops,useshands andlift upto 35 pounds unassisted. Must be able to perform work at a bench height of 37.5" to 42". Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors.
