Purpose: This position is responsibleto achieveschedule efficiency andutilizationgoals, through coordination with Production Control Planners, Team Leaders, direct laboremployeesand other shift Area Owners. Duties and Responsibilities: Obtains schedule priority and production goal direction from the Production Control Planner and/or Team Leaders. Determinesoverall resource assignments including product, rotation, and cross training to achieve schedule,efficiencyandutilizationgoals. Provides follow-through on priorities to ensure results are achieved. Updates andmaintainsFactory SQDC boards. Participates in the identification and corrective action in performance to goal issues. Elevates performance issues/ facts to the Team Leader for correction. Ensuresaccurateshift to shift communication focusing on production priorities and results. Measures area effectiveness in terms of schedule attainment,utilization, and efficiency Performs variousmaterialscoordination activities. Sustains and maintains 5S standards and all continuous improvement activities. Must be a cooperative and participating member in all cell/team activities such as team meetings, team presentations, problem solving exercises, etc. Performs other duties and specialprojects asassigned. Work experience requirements: Requirespriorrelevant work experience, suited vocationaltraining, may require higher qualifications or certifications. Previousexperience as a Key Holder/ Area Owner backup is strongly desired. 2-3 years in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge requirements: Demonstrated ability to coordinate direct labor activities and make production work assignments. Basic computer skills. Fundamental understanding of the application of efficiency andutilizationmetrics. Strong planning and organization, communication, and group problem solving skills. Leadership skills anddemonstratedability to functi9on successfully in a team environment. Willing to work all scheduled overtime and be available for off-shift meetings. Willing and able to continually rotate through a variety of manufacturing processes, performing all types of tasks in a cell/team environment. Must be reliably and predictably available to perform the major duties of the position at the assigned work site. Must be able to be ready to perform the job tasksthatthe assigned start time. Physical requirements: Must be able to stand for up to eight hours per day, ability to move about, bends, stoops,useshands andlift upto 35 pounds unassisted. Must be able to perform work at a bench height of 37.5" to 42". Unaided visual acuity or corrected visual acuity should be at least 20/40 in each eye at infinity (20 feet) with the ability to distinguish colors.
