Description Per Diem - MaineHealthOrthopedics and Sports Medicine is currently seeking a BC/BE physician to join their busy and dynamic group in their hospital-employed practice located in Farmington, Maine.The successful candidate will provide a mix of outpatient, inpatient, and surgical orthopedic care while also providing some general orthopedic services. The successful candidate willjoin our current highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeons, Podiatrist and APP providers in our Orthopedics program in Farmington. This position includes state-of-the-art joint replacements, including total knee and hip replacements, carpal tunnel release, joint arthroscopy, fracture reduction, and foot and hand surgery. A diversephysical rehabilitation and sports medicine departmentsupports the Orthopedics program, as well as a weeklysports medicine clinicfor individuals of all ages who suffer from a sports-related injury, including student athletes and adult recreational athletes.In addition to the local team there is collaboration with orthopedic surgery team throughout MaineHealth.
