This role is in our Global Equipment group located in Pittsburgh, PA. The position is responsible for performing skilled manufacturing functions related to fabricating, wiring, troubleshooting, analyzing, and repairing of electrical equipment. What's in it For You

- Plant location: Pittsburgh, PA
- Work week and shift: Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm
What You Will Do:
- Panel building
- Lay out, assemble, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical panels from blueprints, schematics, and drawings
- Build to NFPA electrical codes
- Maintain a working knowledge of electrical certifications (UL, CE, CSA, etc.)
- Perform interconnecting wiring on final equipment assembly
- Troubleshoot and repair refurbished electrical equipment
- Take ownership of projects from start to finish
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Electrical degree or certification with two years of work experience in an electrical assignment OR 5 years of work experience in light industrial control panel wiring
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, ladder logic, production drawings and Bills of Material
- Ability to wire to code
- Proficiency with electrical and shop hand tools (examples: Multimeter, drills, saws, knockouts, etc.).
Physical Demands:
- This position involves working in a shop environment, with exposure to dust, noises, and odors.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Other equipment manufacturing skillsets (examples:Welding, pipefitting, construction)
- SAP knowledge
- PLC experience
- Prior experience as a group lead, team leader, supervisor, or equivalent
- Basic computer skills (examples:Data entry, Internet/e-mail, etc.)
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Good understanding and execution of troubleshooting techniques
- Good verbal communication and leadership skills
- The ability to work proficiently alone and with a team to meet project deadlines
Annual or Hourly Compensation Range
The pay range for this position is $31.18 - $46.77. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
