A Day in the Life

A typical day as a Senior Administrative Assistant in Reno, NV might include the following:

  • Provide highlevel administrative support to partners and managers, helping them stay organized, prepared, and focused on priorities.
  • Support calendars, meetings, and inboxes as needed; anticipate conflicts and assist with preparation, logistics, and followup.
  • Coordinate department meetings, seminars, and conference calls, including agendas, minutes, and action items when needed.
  • Prepare, format, and finalize clientfacing and internal documents such as engagement letters, financial statements, proposals, and correspondence.
  • Perform practice management support, including billing tasks, client setup, data maintenance, and reporting.
  • Schedule appointments, coordinate domestic travel, and process expense reports in compliance with firm guidelines.
  • Support office operations as needed, including phones, mail, supplies, visitor support, and backup receptionist coverage.
  • Collaborate with the administrative team to meet deadlines, provide coverage, assist with training, and support special projects.

Who You Are

  • You have a high school diploma (required).
  • You have 3+ years of administrative support experience.
  • You have experience in a professional services or accounting environment preferred.
  • You are known for professionalism, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information with care and integrity.
  • You are highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • You are a clear, proactive communicator who works well independently and with others.
  • You have strong attention to detail and followthrough.
  • You have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new systems.
  • This position requires prolonged standing and sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching, and the ability to lift 20 lbs.

Must be authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without visa sponsorship.
