The Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, is seeking a Research Nurse Coordinator to support cardiovascular clinical trials and innovative research initiatives. Under the direction of the Principal Investigator, this role performs independent nursing and advanced administrative duties to ensure the effective implementation and management of clinical research protocols. Responsibilities include seeing research participants, reviewing safety labs and adverse events, implementing investigational drug dose adjustments per protocol, and performing specialized clinical procedures such as electrocardiograms, spirometry, and cardiopulmonary exercise testing while monitoring vital signs. This position supports a diverse portfolio of studies, including multicenter NIH and industry-sponsored trials, investigator-initiated research, and programmatic activities such as clinical databases and biorepositories. The Research Nurse Coordinator works closely with investigators, clinicians, research staff, and external partners to ensure regulatory compliance, patient safety, and efficient study operations while contributing clinical expertise to the advancement of cardiovascular research. *This is a limited role which may convert to career.* Hourly range: $70.59-$106.80 Qualifications
