This opportunity is temporary employment for enrolled engineering students who are seeking a summer internship. The internship will begin in May/June 2026 and conclude in late August 2026. This is a paid role with a set hourly rate of $21.00/hr scheduled for 40 hours a week. The role will be 100% in person; relocation and housing stipend are NOT offered. As a Software Engineering Intern, you will have the chance to work on various aspects of software development, including coding, testing, and debugging. You will be involved in real-world projects that will challenge your skills and enhance your understanding of software engineering principles. Skills Required: * Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * Understanding of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, and HTML/CSS. * Knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices. * Robotics Software Experience is a plus (but not required) * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Strong communication skills and willingness to learn. Responsibilities: * Collaborate with the development team to design and implement software solutions across the software stack. * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. * Assist in the testing and debugging of software applications. * Contribute to the development of new features and improvements. * Work closely with other team members to ensure project success. Education: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other relevant engineering degrees.
