ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Data Analyst provides management and analysis of business data for use in decision making and organizational efficiency improvement initiatives. The Analyst will compile and compute data, using data from various software systems and databases. The Analyst will use statistical formulas, graphs, and other types of reports to effectively convey data analysis and trends to appropriate leadership and other stakeholders. MYR Group Inc. Duties: Analyze medical incidents and accidents data and fleet data to extract valuable insights, contributing to enhanced business performance. Perform research, analysis, coding, testing and debugging of reports and dashboards utilizing PowerBI, Microsoft Excel, and related tools. Responsible for taking questions within our business and finding the answers through the data, using reports and dashboards. Analyze data to gain insights, provide information, and make recommendations to the appropriate business units. Present effective data analysis (graphs, charts, or reports) to internal stakeholders and leadership, participate in the publication of data or information. Build partnerships and work collaboratively with other department stakeholders to ensure consistent focus on producing quality deliverables in a timely manner. Compute and analyze data, using statistical formulas and computers or calculators. File data and related information and maintain and update databases. Assist leadership in process standardization within the fleet and safety departments to ensure accuracy of data capture. Validate and standardize source data to verify completeness and accuracy. Aggregate and perform statistical analysis on business data based on requests from project teams or senior leadership. Integrate data from multiple data sources or functional areas, ensure data accuracy and integrity, and update data as needed. Write queries or reports to provide data for various analytical projects. Interprets data to identify business trends, conduct root cause analysis of business problems, or suggest areas for process improvement. Email resume to Human-Resources@myrgroup.com, Ref: 6572 ABOUT YOU Requirements: Must have Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Health Informatics, Data Science, or related field; 1 year of experience as a Data Analyst or a related position, which must include: Analyzing medical records using Excel, SQL, and Power BI to identify trends, key metrics, and bottlenecks to improve process efficiency and build expertise in handling large datasets to support efficient business processes. Developing interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize performance metrics, supporting data-driven decision-making and enhancing communication of key findings to leadership. Cleaning and standardizing large datasets using Excel and Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
