Supplier Enablement & Ariba Operations Specialist

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Supplier Enablement & Ariba Operations Specialist for a 6+ month contract position located in West Des Moines, IA.

Description:

In this role, you may participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and identify opportunity for process improvements within Operational Accounting. You will review and analyze basic or tactical Operational Accounting assignments or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives, related to low-to-medium risk deliverables. You will also present recommendations for resolving low to moderately complex situations and exercise some independent judgment while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for unique supplier setup and maintenance requests tied to projects and monitoring Ariba Buying & Invoicing supplier mismatch reports to identify, research, and resolve discrepancies
• Answer questions on process to peers and managers as well as internal and external customers
• Troubleshoot escalated and complex questions coming from internal business groups and external suppliers
• Prioritize and complete escalations independently, report system defects, and complete requirements for enhancements to systems and processes
• Independently complete monthly UAT system testing efforts to submit test scripts, and additional projects as assigned
• Analyze risks in process and document procedures and training requirements to strengthen and improve individual and team performance
• Work directly with Suppliers to troubleshoot Ariba system modules and the PeopleSoft system
• Manage and work system clean-up projects to maintain a system of record free from error
• Partner closely with internal teams to ensure suppliers have been successfully onboarded for transacting in Ariba

Requirements:

• 2+ years of Operational Accounting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education
• Must be a self-starter who works independently, requiring little direction or management oversight

Pay range: $30.16 - $34.38 per hour
