SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic cardiology procedures and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by; or at the request of a licensed practitioner. Provides appropriate patient care (newborn, infant, child, adolescent, adult, geriatric). Knowledge of cardiovascular technology, cardiac pathophysiology, hemodynamics. EKG recordings: prep, technique, and lead placements. Must be able to handle multiple tasks/projects. Good communication skills, ethical and professional conduct, good understanding of age-related developmental issue of pediatrics and geriatrics. Flexibility to work overtime as needed, weekend rotate. Must be able to demonstrate a high degree of concentration, memory retention, alertness and the ability to handle stress with quick response to assigned duties.
