Position: Facilities Maintenance Manager

Location: Endicott, NY

Salary: $80,000 - $95,000 (based on experience)

Reports To: Operations / Plant Manager

We are seeking an experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to oversee facility operations and maintenance within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment. This role ensures the safe, reliable, and compliant operation of building systems, production support equipment, and facility infrastructure while supporting manufacturing performance and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on maintenance leader with experience managing facility systems, supervising technicians, and maintaining production uptime in a regulated manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the operation and maintenance of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, compressed air, plumbing, lighting, and building infrastructure.
• Ensure facility conditions support production operations and controlled manufacturing environments.
• Maintain and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance programs using a CMMS or similar maintenance management system.
• Respond quickly to facility or equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.
• Supervise and prioritize work for a small maintenance team (1-3 technicians).
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs when required.
• Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for facility maintenance and projects.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100 quality standards, ITAR regulations, OSHA requirements, and environmental standards.
• Maintain facility readiness for internal and external audits.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing facility maintenance operations in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, preventive maintenance programs, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Leadership experience supervising maintenance staff and contractors.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance documentation.
