Manufacturing Engineer- Westbury, NY

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications and will be discussed during the interview process. The salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000 annually and offers a competitive benefits package.

• Assists in planning and designing processes for an electronics manufacturing facility .
• Maximizes efficiency by analyzing layout of equipment, workflow, assembly methods, and work force utilization in an electronic environment.
• Daily tasks will involve working hand in hand with production in an Electronic Metering Production Department
• Determines the parts, equipment, and tools needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
• Generates, reviews and updates work instructions and procedures as necessary to improve cycle times, cost and quality.
• Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role with other departments to assist in cost reduction and cycle time improvement.
• Assists engineering with Prototype builds and creates all necessary documentation to transition product to production.
• Assist production with ERP system (Netsuite/SAP) as necessary to ensure inventory and work orders are properly processed.

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering/Mechanical Engineering or similar technical area.
• 3-5 years' Experience in an electronics manufacturing environment where electrical testing of Printed Circuit boards and/or finished goods is performed
• Lean Six Sigma/5s Tools a Plus.
• Experience with wiring, cable assemblies, PCB's, soldering and mechanical assembly of electronics strongly recommended.
• Netsuite experience a plus, or ability to learn new software to assist production
