Spectrum Brands is looking for an experienced National Accounts Manager: Marketplace & Amazon Canada with extensive Amazon and marketplace experience, proven analytical capabilities, and strategic execution. The National Accounts Manager: Amazon Canada & Marketplace will be the business owner with responsibility for achieving the annual sales plan, owning the relationships and negotiations, and driving the sales funnel from driving traffic through conversion. The National Account Manager: Amazon Canada and Marketplace will own all aspects of the business, including product assortment, pricing, promotions, catalog quality and data coverage as well as providing direction to the performance marketing team on priority items.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sales: Responsible for achieving the annual sales plan by marketplace and brand
  • Marketplace Management: Own the strategy for each marketplace including Walmart, TikTok, Target Plus, Wayfair, Homedepot.com and Lowes.com including, managing the vendor relationship, managing 3P pricing and promotions, content quality scores and maintaining all marketplace KPIs
  • Amazon Canada Manager: Own the strategy including, managing the vendor relationship, product assortment, promotions, content quality scores and maintaining all marketplace KPIs
  • Performance Marketing: Partner with performance marketing team to prioritize items to focus and increase traffic and overall sales.
  • Promotions: Develop/manage promotional plan, coordinating with finance, trade marketing to align with brand strategies and advertising plans as appropriate. Recommend opportunities for increased penetration, based on knowledge of customers and territory
  • Profitability: Effectively manage Spectrum's and Marketplace partner's while working through any channel conflict.
  • Conversion: Drive conversion through optimization of content and keywords through continual A/B testing
  • Catalog Data: Responsible for the overall data quality and management of product data in Amazon vendor central and seller central accounts
  • Inventory & Forecasting: Partner with sales forecasting and inventory teams on forecasting sales on a monthly basis
  • Analysis & Reporting: Ownership of the dashboard reporting and analysis for the Amazon Canada and Marketplace business, understanding how key inputs are impacting overall performance
  • Collaboration: Engage cross-functional departments, sharing Amazon Canada and Marketplace results and educating the organization on the channels. Develop and share best practices with teams in other countries around the globe.
  • Launch of new marketplaces: Identify and launch new marketplace businesses that will drive incremental growth for the business. You will work as the leader in this initiative with cross-functional team support.

Education and Experience Profile


  • Role not eligible for sponsorship


  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, sales or related field required.
  • 5+ year of marketplace and Amazon experience across multiple platforms
  • 3+ years of Walmart marketplace experience is required
  • Software-minded and experience leveraging technology to drive solutions. Experience with CIQ is a plus
  • Proficiency with Excel and data analytics, BI tools, and data science methods in solving complex problems
  • Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and proven ability to lead large and complex projects with cross-functional teams

Work Environment

This is a remote position with 10% to 20% travel required.
