Almac Group is currently seeking a HR Coordinator for our Souderton, PA location. The HR Coordinator will interact with employees' company-wide, performing human resources related duties in the functional areas such as HR administration, benefits, employee inquiries, HRIS/reporting, or other special HR projects and provides general HR support to HR management in major HR areas.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:


  • Addressing and/or resolving HR-related inquiries, requests or issues, partnering with the respective HR SME team members or HR Management as needed.
  • Supporting HR Management functions

    • Facilitate the delivery of HR services:

      • General HR Administration and maintaining assigned HR processes (distribution lists, templates, content, links; Altranet/SharePoint, LL, etc.).
      • Support Leaves of Absence administration, in particular responding to LOA inquiries, tracking LOA process for accuracy with 3rd party leave administrator, generating monthly LOA report, and handling return to work process.
      • Ensuring the separation process is handled accurately, timely and seamlessly.
      • Handling JD posting and maintenance of Altranet/SharePoint and LL.
      • Generating recurring and ad hoc reporting, including monthly and annual Service Award report.
      • Process I-9 recertifications and annual audit and creation of monthly Visa/I-9 audit report.
      • Data entry and maintenance: UKG/EFM document processing (ie regarding employee documents such as I9/new hire, disciplinary action, separation, name changes).
      • Handling of name change process.


    • Communication & reminders on exit process, leave process, or any other HR processes as assigned.


  • Attend monthly HSE/OSHA meeting.
  • Open Enrollment support which has priority over most other tasks. Including: communications, meetings, employee assistance and follow up.
  • LOA/COBRA Billing (monthly)
  • Pulling report from BSC, reformat for Finance and Payroll and verify amounts on report match notification of amount to be pulled from BSC.
  • LOA Billing Payment Report (monthly)
  • Pulling report from BSC 1st of each month to review any accounts in short-pay or late pay status and follow up with BSC to make sure anyone who should be terminated for non-payment has been processed and sent COBRA.
  • Follow up on Fidelity reported incorrect addresses.
  • Process returned Benefits Mail.
  • Handle Aetna Coordination of Benefits requests (verification of employment).
  • MetLife LTD requests for information (providing general employee records and job duty information).
  • Organize flu shot clinic (annually) if applicable.


Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:


  • HS diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of HR working experience or similar role OR
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field and 1+ year HR experience or similar role
  • 1+ year working knowledge of US employment law and regulations in similar or comparable HR role.
  • Understanding of HR functionalities and how they interplay
  • Proficiency in MS office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet.


Preferred Experience / Education:


  • 2+ years of HR working experience in similar role, supporting multiple HR functions.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational, analytic and presentation skills.
  • Ability to perform required tasks with moderate or minimal supervision.
  • Ability to operate effectively in team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Ability to learn using current HRIS system functionalities
  • Ability to enter data accurately and timely.
