Our client is looking for a Senior Mobile UI Designer to join their team! This is a 6 month long, remote, 40 hours/week contract assignment based out of California. Responsibilities:
Audit and synthesize existing TV and mobile user interfaces to inform the development of cohesive mobile UI frameworks and scalable design systems.
Translate complex product experiences from TV platforms into intuitive, high-quality mobile interfaces optimized for iOS and Android environments.
Design visually refined mobile UI components and interaction patterns that balance usability, performance, and strong visual craft.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional product, design, and engineering teams to interpret product concepts and evolve them into polished mobile experiences.
Create high-fidelity prototypes, interaction flows, and motion explorations using Figma to communicate design intent and user behavior.
Contribute to the evolution of mobile design systems, ensuring components, patterns, and documentation support long-term product scalability.
Provide UX guidance on how platform-specific behaviors and patterns should adapt when translating experiences from TV to mobile devices.
Requirements:
Extensive experience designing mobile user interfaces with a strong focus on visual craft, component systems, and scalable design frameworks.
Deep understanding of both iOS and Android interaction patterns and platform-specific design guidelines.
Advanced proficiency in Figma, including prototyping, component creation, and collaborative design workflows.
Demonstrated ability to translate complex product experiences across platforms while maintaining usability, clarity, and visual excellence.
Senior Mobile UI Designer (in a nutshell):
Synthesize and audit existing TV and mobile design UI style and components to create a relevant UI style.
Must Have Skills:
-Mobile UI design and design system experience
-Deep understanding of Android and iOS patterns
-High UI Mobile visual design craft abilities
-Mobile UI interactive and motion expertise
-Figma and prototyping skills
The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $115.00-$140.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
