The Opportunity

As a Principal Instructor at Adobe, you will be at the forefront of delivering outstanding learning experiences within our Premium Learning Subscription organization. You will bring to bear your deep technical expertise and instructional excellence to significantly impact both customer happiness and internal standards.

You will engage with a diverse range of learning audiences - including executives, business users, system administrators, and developers, across various Adobe Customer Experience Orchestration platforms. Your role will extend beyond training delivery to include crafting curriculum, mentoring peers, and collaborating with global Adobe teams to ensure customer success. This outstanding position allows you to travel up to 50%, providing you the chance to lead highimpact engagements!

What You Will Do
  • Deliver expertlevel InstructorLed (ILT) and Virtual InstructorLed (VILT) training for global, enterprise audiences.

  • Build and deliver prescriptive education solutions aligned to complex customer use cases.

  • Act as a trusted advisor during learning needs analysis and course prioritization discussions.

  • Own training engagements endtoend, from preparation through postdelivery followup.

  • Mentor and support instructors, helping develop delivery quality and technical depth.

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for your practice, contributing to curriculum evolution and delivery standards.

  • Lead or contribute to delivery improvement initiatives, including curriculum refreshes and newcourse enablement.

  • Communicate with clarity and confidence to influence customers and internal collaborators.

What You Need to Succeed

Experience & Background

  • 10-15 years of experience in technical training, enterprise software, or technology consulting.

  • 10+ years delivering instructorled training or technical presentations.

  • 8+ years of handson experience with Digital Experience and/or MarTech solutions.

  • Equivalent combination of education and practical technical experience.

Technical Expertise
  • Proficiency in Git, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Experience with modern web architectures, including SPAs and headless delivery.

  • Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, SQL, and API testing tools (e.g., Postman).

  • Familiarity with data models, schemas, and enterprise data structures.

  • Digital Experience background strongly preferred.

Certifications & Professional Attributes
  • Three or more Adobe Digital Experience certifications across multiple solution areas.

  • Strong customer presence and ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences.

  • Passion for customer success, learning excellence, and continuous improvement.

  • Comfortable working independently while collaborating across global teams.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $120,400 -- $220,750 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $152,500 - $220,750

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
