Overview
Analyze, build, monitor and assess datasets from varying sources to support the Bank's strategic objectives. Gather business requirements to develop reports, analytics, and digital solutions, in alignment with requests from varying Departments. Monitor and maintain existing analytical solutions and workloads to ensure availability
Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications
- Facilitate working sessions and follow-up discussions with business partners to refine requirements, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment between data solutions and operational goals
- Independently manage multiple concurrent requests, balancing ad hoc items with longer term project initiatives.
- Build rich datasets, reports and dashboards for various stakeholders across the organization.
- Extract and implement data from various sources/data types, including but not limited to SQL, plain text, tabular, binary large objects ("BLOB") and JavaScript Object Notation ("JSON").
- Publish reports and dashboards to Microsoft Fabric, organize content within workspaces, and provide demonstrations to stakeholders.
- Analyze data using tools such as SQL and Power BI to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities; provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Coordinate the monitoring and assessment of the performance of analytical solutions.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity by implementing validation rules and monitoring data flows.
- Identify data issues, determine root causes, and take appropriate corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Perform data quality validation and coordinate User Acceptance Testing ("UAT").
- Assist in building and maintaining Digital Business Campaigns Lists.
- Provide ongoing support for existing data systems and related processes.
- Support survey instrument development and implementation for improved services. Coordinate survey data collection and processing.
- Communicate data analysis findings to stakeholders, leaders, and department heads and solicit feedback.
- Document data definitions, data lineage, data mappings, and other technical specifications as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or HS diploma with minimum 2 years of related experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in an applied analytical role required.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Fabric SaaS preferred
- Prior experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce or Dynamics preferred.
- Prior experience with Snowflake preferred.
- Prior experience with SharePoint preferred
- MS Office advanced knowledge specifically Excel (pivot tables, logic functions, lookups and complex formulas).
- Comfortably using Microsoft Visio to create data flows and process diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, including the ability to write complex queries, analyze datasets, and interpret data insights
- Demonstrable experience using data wrangling software like PowerBI or Tableau.
- Professional experience in a common statistical or data science tool such as R, Python, Azure Cognitive Services preferred.
- Ability to work independently, gather and document business requirements clearly and accurately.
- Hands-on experience creating Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirements, and Data Mapping Documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

COMPENSATION: $75,000 TO $110,000 annually
