Mortgage Post Closer - Residential Lending - Charleston, WV

• This position is hybrid. The employee is split between remote and office work on a formalized schedule. Consideration for location will be WesBanco Center - Charleston, WV.

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Clerical experience preferred along with basic accounting skills.

Familiarity with Mortgage Loan Documents is a plus.

SUMMARY:

Responsible for delivering closed salable loans to investors and providing follow up documentation to ensure loan purchase.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Becomes knowledgeable about Mortgage Loan documentation.

Becomes knowledgeable about various Mortgage Loan Programs. Keeps updated and informed on changes to programs.

Ships closed loan package to Investor according to individual Investor guidelines prior to expiration date.

Coordinates with Loan Processors and Mortgage Loan Originators to correct any Investor required loan conditions and deficiencies prior to expiration date.

Requests insurance such as VA FF, FHA MIP or activate PMI Certificate as needed.

Submits insurance package to appropriate entity on government loans when requested.

Follows up with other WesBanco departments and Settlement Agents for receipt of deferred or incomplete documents.

Submits files of Sold loans and Portfolio are updated to Image Center.

Collects first payment from customer and remit to investor. Follow-up with customer regarding any issues with first payment. Balance the Cash Items GL and VLIP Account.

Other duties as assigned.
