Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Production Scheduling Manager based in Indianapolis, IN. The Production Scheduling Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily execution and continuous improvement of short-term scheduling processes in support of customer demand and plant operations. This role leads a team of production schedulers, standardizing practices, driving flow, and ensuring schedule attainment.

HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $120,000 - $140,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.

What you will do
  • Provide daily leadership and coaching to a team of production schedulers, ensuring accurate and efficient short-term scheduling across all production areas
  • Standardize scheduling processes and sequencing strategies to promote consistency, reduce changeovers, and improve schedule attainment
  • Facilitate weekly scheduling review meetings with cross-functional teams to align priorities, resolve issues, and ensure timely execution
  • Monitor earned hours, schedule adherence, and exception resolution, driving continuous improvement through root cause analysis and follow-up actions
What we require
  • 5+ years of experience in production scheduling or planning, with 2 + years in a leadership or team lead role
  • Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems; working knowledge of scheduling and order management
What we prefer
  • SAP
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations, or a related field
  • CPIM or CSCP certifications
