POSITION SUMMARYThe Director, Brand and Product Management leads brand and product strategy, development, and execution for key manufacturer portfolios, including Goodyear and Bridgestone. This role ensures brands are differentiated, consistent, and aligned with business goals, by overseeing brand positioning, messaging, got-to-market strategy, and cross functional brand initiatives across all touchpoints. The role is accountable for driving awareness, loyalty, volume, and margin performance across all company channels while maximizing and optimizing qualified program dealer programs and proactively adapting to evolving market and industry needs.
This is a remote position within the United States.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Goodyear & Bridgestone Brand & Program Leadership
- Drive the strategic direction, positioning, and execution of Goodyear & Bridgestone associate dealer programs to reinforce brand consistency and marketplace differentiation.
- Provide categorylevel expertise across the wholesale channel, ensuring the Goodyear & Bridgestone value proposition is clearly communicated and consistently delivered.
- Develop and refine brand strategy, positioning, and value proposition, including brand architecture decisions - and translate business objectives into brand-building programs
- Serve as the internal champion of the brand, educating teams and reinforcing brand standards
Vendor & Manufacturer Relationship Management
- Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with key vendors, manufacturers, and thirdparty service providers to support program execution, product availability, merchandising, and promotional initiatives.
- Lead vendor relations by setting performance expectations and ensuring alignment with Goodyear & Bridgestone brand standards and program requirements.
- Collaborate with manufacturing partners to optimize assortments, improve supply continuity, and enhance program competitiveness.
- Represent the company and its brands in key manufacturer, industry, or partner forums as appropriate.
Channel Program Development & Execution
- Develop and manage channelspecific twostep retailer programs, including assortment planning, merchandising strategies, promotional calendars, distributor/retailer scorecards, and thirdparty provider integration.
- Ensure all program elements deliver measurable value to channel partners and support Goodyear & Bridgestone brand objectives
- Conduct or oversee market and customer to inform brand strategy, messaging and product positioning.
Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and implement strategic plans for all program stakeholders, including risk mitigation strategies and longterm growth roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across programs, processes, and partner engagement.
- Define KPIs for brand health, awareness, perception, and engagement.
- Leverage data, insights, and performance metrics to inform decisions, prioritize investments, and optimize brand and program outcomes.
Strategic Planning Governance & Performance Management
- Develop and implement strategic plans for all program stakeholders, including long-term growth roadmaps and risk mitigation strategies.
- Define and monitor KPIs related to brand health, awareness, perception, engagement and program performance.
- Oversee program budgets, timelines, and operational activities to ensure efficient execution and strong ROI.
- Ensure customer and partner compliance with corporate policies and program guidelines across all Goodyear & Bridgestone initiatives.
Cross Functional Collaboration & Training
- Lead training and capability-building initiatives for Goodyear & Bridgestone associates and customer teams to ensure strong program knowledge and execution excellence.
- Partner closely with internal teams-including Channels, Category Management, Revenue Management, Finance, and Accounting-to align program strategies with broader company and PBU objectives.
- Support crossfunctional strategic initiatives that enhance program performance, customer satisfaction, and brand impact.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 10+ years of progressive experience in brand management, product management, marketing, or channel/program leadership roles. Demonstrated experience leading brand strategy, positioning, and gotomarket initiatives across multiple channels. Proven ability to manage complex vendor and manufacturer relationships and influence outcomes without direct authority. Experience developing and managing budgets, KPIs, and performance metrics to drive growth and profitability. Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to partner effectively across sales, category management, finance, and operations. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred:
Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field. Experience working with national or global brands, preferably within a wholesale, distribution, or multi-channel environment. Experience leading or supporting manufacturer-sponsored dealer or associate programs. Prior people leadership or functional leadership experience.
