SUMMARY OF POSITION

Directs all technical and marketing operations associated with the organization's ecommerce function. This role will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Communications, Sales, and Operations, to ensure successful product launches and market adoption driving revenue generation.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.



  • Aligns and structures ecommerce focused team for success assessing and analyzing pressure points in the organization and shifting resources and investments to maximize team effectiveness.
  • Working with portfolio marketing and sales organizations ensuring the development of ecommerce marketing content and KPI performance metrics include, but not limited to, revenue growth, retail media, customer focused advertising partnerships, technology stack input, integration aligning to overall online presence, and customer focused growth strategies.
  • Owns Amazon.com internal/external structure and is responsible for revenue and profit performance to plan for Amazon.com aligned to the budget structure set by the Senior VP Sales Craftsman and Consumer.
  • Plans for, develops, purchases, implements, and maintains utilization of ecommerce platforms and related technology systems needed to support the organization's online presence.
  • In partnership with IT, communicates with ecommerce vendors to ensure ecommerce infrastructure, software, and related applications support organizational marketing objectives.
  • Informs and collaborates with senior management in the areas of online, social media, and digital marketing progression, development of ecommerce revenue budget targets aligned to Senior VP Sales and presents results, and adjustment plans monthly/quarterly aligned to QBR process.
  • In partnership with IT and VP Business Operations, will review process to ensure ecommerce platforms integrate with CRM and ERP systems.
  • Leads and directs the work of ecommerce team employees and has responsibility for all personnel actions.

  • Significant collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing communications, operations, finance, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on products.
  • Supervision is often provided through a team of subordinate managers.
  • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.
  • Establish departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives at once.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and Analytic tools.
  • Powerful presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term marketing strategies that drive business growth across broad distribution channels.



JOB REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field. MBA preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in business, marketing or related field, including prior management experience.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ecommerce analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time.
