About the Role

As a Summer Intern in our Fleet Operations department, you will gain practical business experience through project-based assignments that challenge your analytical, problem?solving, and critical-thinking abilities. You will collaborate with team members across the organization and have opportunities to engage with functional leaders, and subject matter experts.

This internship offers an opportunity to learn how a leading U.S. carrier in Pacific shipping operates, while building skills that will support your long-term career development.

The Intern rate of pay is $25/hour.

This position requires the successful candidate to be in-office at our Walnut Creek Corporate office at least 5 days per week.

What you'll do:

  • Support Fleet Operations team with daily operational tasks
  • Conduct research and data analysis to help inform business decisions
  • Assist in process improvements, reporting, and documentation efforts
  • Participate in meetings, presentations, and cross-department interactions
  • Contribute ideas and collaborate with team members on operational projects

What You Will Gain:

You have these skills:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Self-motivated with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent MS Office skills and knowledge of spreadsheets

And these qualifications:

  • Junior or Senior pursuing an undergraduate degree.
  • Currently attending a Maritime Academy
  • Completion of maritime or logistics courses required.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.6 or higher

The hourly rate is posted for this position.
