Description and Requirements

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented college intern to support hardware bring-up and validation activities in a cloud data center environment. In this role, the intern will gain hands-on experience working with server platforms by assisting engineers in configuring and preparing systems for testing. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn data center hardware operations, server architecture, and validation workflows while collaborating with engineering teams in a real-world technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Installing and configuring key server components such as DIMMs, SSDs, CPUs, and other hardware components
  • Assembling and preparing servers either as standalone systems or installing them into racks
  • Ensuring systems are properly set up for validation activities
  • Help execute basic server tests, monitor system behavior, and review system logs to identify potential issues

Basic Requirements:

  • Currently pursing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • Experience with Windows operating system
  • Hands on hardware experience
  • AMD and Intel server work experience is a plus
  • Firmware experience
