Position Title: Quality Control Technician I NA

Position Overview
Perform quality control and assurance activities to ensure product conformance to customer requirements. Primary responsibilities include testing, gage support, and quality-related support to manufacturing, and other departments. This position focuses on in-process and finished products.

Primary Responsibilities

* Performs required sample analysis; collection, prepping, assembly.

* Completes data entry of test results and maintain records.
* Respond to quality questions from customers and handle quality issues from supervisors and operators.
* Operates laboratory equipment; both manual and automatic.
* Processes incoming samples and assists in processing outgoing samples.
* Performs office functions to include documentation and filing samples to quality control.
* Maintains general housekeeping of laboratory.
* Conduct internal audits.
* Assure the conformance of testing equipment certifications to ISO standards.
* Create corrective action documentation and communicate to customer.
* All other duties as assigned by the supervisor or designated person.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma; preferred Associates degree in technical field

  • Preferred experience in a lab or manufacturing environment

  • Preferred experience with ERP systems

  • Must be able to do basic math

  • Walking, pushing, pulling, stretching, and lifting 50 lbs.

  • Able to perform job with minimal supervision

  • Good organizational skills; able to keep records

  • Some mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills are required

  • Experience with shiftwork

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location.
