LOCATION OF (1) POSITION(S) TO BE FILLED: DEPARTMENT OF LABOR & WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT, WORKFORCE SERVICES DIVISION, SHELBY COUNTY Qualifications Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent work experience. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a role involving direct public engagement, customer service, or workforce development. Substitution of Experience for Education: Experience in a customer service-related field such as, social service, community development, and retail customer service may be substituted on a year for year basis. Necessary Special Qualifications: Possession of a valid motor vehicle driver's license Overview Partners for Reentry Opportunities in Workforce Development (PROWD) Case Manager will manage strength-based services to participants and performing other duties as necessary to ensure that the program operates effectively and efficiently within the guidelines of the grant. The program will serve PROWD program participants of the Memphis low-security facility and minimum-security satellite camp during and after incarceration in Residential Reentry Centers and the general community. Responsibilities 1 Ensure all participant paperwork, credentials, and data are submitted to the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development-TN Office of Reentry 2 Collaborate with statewide partners and employers to identify and eliminate barriers to employment for participants 3 Collaborate with Memphis and Nashville RRCs to ensure recruitment goals are met 4 Work with TN PROWD Community of Practice Navigators to ensure individuals are moving through the workforce development system 5 Maintain a working knowledge of processes within American Job Center network and how they contribute to outcomes and tracking Competencies (KSA's) Competencies: Knowledges: Skills: Abilities: Tools & Equipment 1.
